About Us
Piedmont Women’s Center is a trusted provider of reproductive health care serving the upstate of South Carolina and surrounding areas. Our involvement with professional community partners enables Piedmont Women’s Center to provide free laboratory quality pregnancy testing, free pregnancy consultations and free Limited OB ultrasounds at three locations in the Upstate region. Our caring, professional personnel are committed to understanding and meeting your individual health needs.
What We Do
Among the top considerations of women who choose abortion are financial concerns: 75% of women who obtain abortions state that “they cannot afford a child.” Another significant consideration may be a lack of relational support. Fifty percent of women who abort “say they do not want to be a single parent or are having problems with their husband or partner.”
For the past twenty years, Piedmont Women’s Center has addressed the real needs of clients by offering them social and emotional support, access to free medical and physical resources, and a full complement of medically accurate pregnancy information including limited OB ultrasound. Our personnel, volunteers, and ministry partners work hard to ensure that clients are well cared for, and that they understand that they are accepted and valued.
Our facilities, services, and professional conduct contribute to an environment that celebrates life and affirms the personal worth of every client.
What energizes these efforts is the love of Jesus Christ.
Since Piedmont Women’s Center was founded in 1991, thousands of clients have experienced that love. Many hundreds of them have chosen to carry their unintended pregnancies to term.
But regardless of our clients’ pregnancy outcomes, our desire is that our clients would know how deeply and eternally they themselves are loved. Our personnel are committed to listening well to our clients, to treating them with professionalism and respect, and to offering them the opportunity, should they choose to accept it, to hear about the love of the One who died and lives for them.
