Who is Haven of Rest?
The Haven of Rest is a non-profit Bible-based discipleship program and ministry located in Anderson and upstate South Carolina. As a Christ-centered evangelistic ministry, we present the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Our residential program of Biblical Discipleship is designed for men and women who seek deliverance from destructive, life-dominating behaviors.
How this is accomplished?
Through thousands of hours of Bible teaching the Haven of Rest is designed to rescue, restore, and release men and women facing life-dominating problems.
Rescuing – The receiving of those who come to us for help and meeting their immediate needs while giving biblical guidance.
Restoring – The process of transformation from their point of crisis to becoming a godly, functioning member of society.
Releasing – The removal of the bondage brought on by life’s dominating problems through victory in Jesus Christ and their return to society through connection to a Christian church.
Our goal is to see every program participant have their immediate needs met, find freedom from addictions, and hope in a new life with Christ.
